A delegation from the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad, led by Prof. Dr. Živko Pavlović, visited Óbuda University Rejtő Sándor Faculty of Light Industry in late February 2024. The delegation also included Assistant Professor Saša Petrović and undergraduate student Predrag Ubović.
The visit was organized within the framework of the CEEPUS program, which aims to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions in Central Europe.
The University of Novi Sad is one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Serbia. It consists of 19 faculties and has over 40,000 students. The university’s educational and research activities cover all fields of science and art.
The two universities have enjoyed a good relationship for several decades, which was further strengthened by this visit.
The delegation was welcomed by Dr. habil. László Koltai, Dean of the Rejtő Faculty, who presented the faculty’s renewed educational and research activities and provided information on the short-term and long-term mobility opportunities of the Pannonia Scholarship Program.
Following the dean’s welcome, the parties discussed the CEEPUS program and Óbuda University’s international relations with the participation of Dr. habil. Róbert Németh, the faculty’s CEEPUS coordinator.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited the faculty’s laboratories and workshops, where students presented their research projects. The guests also met with the faculty’s lecturers and students.
The delegation from the University of Novi Sad highly appreciated the visit to Óbuda University Rejtő Faculty and expressed their hope for closer cooperation in the future.
