The Rejtő Sándor Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering at Obuda University is proud to announce its participation in one of the international fashion world’s most prestigious events: the FAHMODA International Fashion Show. In March, our Industrial Product and Design Engineering students traveled to Hannover at the invitation of the FAHMODA Fashion School to showcase their talent before an elite professional audience.

Our faculty was represented at the event by Anna Viktória Nagy and Eszter Mészáros, who presented their own work alongside the outstanding designs of their fellow students: Maja Kiss, Máté Kugler, Boglárka Simon, and Lilla Szabó.

The collection, developed within our Institute of Product Design, was inspired by the mesmerizing forms of Art Nouveau architecture in Subotica. The production—which featured unique lighting effects and choreography designed by the students themselves—was met with great acclaim from both the audience and the participating models.

During the event, our students gained invaluable insight into the entire show-management process, working in close collaboration with an international crew. In addition to gaining experience in stage design and visual presentation, they built significant professional networks abroad. Their development was further enhanced by professional portfolio photography both on the runway and backstage, documented by renowned photographers Yassyn Nizeyimana, Hendrik Wolf, and Sven Ronde.

This significant professional milestone was made possible through the support of Obuda University and the Pannónia Scholarship Programme. We are delighted to have provided our students with this international platform, which serves as a major stepping stone for their future careers.

We extend our sincere congratulations to our students for their excellence and dedication.
