Kirgizian Technical University Delegation Visits Óbuda University Rejtő Sándor Faculty

A delegation from the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov (KSTU) visited the Óbuda University Rejtő Sándor Faculty on September 12, 2023.

The delegation was led by the university’s rector, Professor Chynybaev Mirlan Koichubekovich. The delegation was joined by several other prominent leaders: Professor Akylbek Chymyrov Vice Rector for International Relations, Professor Imiila Rysbaeva Director of the Institute of Technology, Professor Kabaeva Gulnara Director of the Institute of Information Technologies, Professor Saltanat Kozhobaeva Director of the Institute of Architecture and Design.

The delegation met with the faculty’s dean, Professor László Koltai, and other and other faculty leaders, such as Professor Rita Bodáné Kendrovics, Associate Dean for Education and Professor Edit Csanák, Associate Dean for Research.

The delegation also visited the faculty’s laboratories and classrooms.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the possibility of establishing a partnership between the two universities. The two sides discussed areas of cooperation, such as student and teacher exchange, double degree, joint research, and faculty development.

Professor Chynybaev Mirlan Koichubekovich said that he was impressed with the Óbuda University Rejtő Sándor Faculty. He said that the faculty has a strong reputation in the field of engineering, and that he is confident that the two universities can work together to achieve great things.

Professor Koltai said that he is also excited about the possibility of a partnership with the Kyrgyz State Technical University. He said that the two universities share many common goals, and that he is confident that they can work together to benefit both students and faculty.

The delegation’s visit was a positive step towards establishing a partnership between the two universities. Both sides are committed to working together to create a mutually beneficial relationship.

In addition to the meetings and discussions, the delegation also had the opportunity to visit some of the city’s landmarks, such as the Várkert Bazár near to the Buda Castle. They also enjoyed a traditional Hungarian dinner at a local restaurant.

The delegation’s visit was a success, and both sides are looking forward to further cooperation in the future.
