The 16th ICEEE 2025 Online International Conference successfully concluded with significant international interest. The two-day event, held on November 20–21, 2025, was hosted online by Óbuda University in Budapest, reaffirming the higher education institution’s commitment to global scientific dialogue.

The central theme of the conference was “Global Environmental Development and Sustainability: Research, Engineering, and Management.” This multifaceted concept focused on the most critical challenges facing the scientific community: how research, innovative engineering, and effective management can contribute to shaping a more sustainable future.

A highlight of the program was a special workshop session concentrating on the topic of “Environmental Health and Climatic Change.” The session shed light on the inseparable link between human health and environmental stress, as well as the complex prevention strategies necessitated by accelerating climate change.

The global significance of the 16th ICEEE Conference is demonstrated by the impressive participation statistics. A total of 67 scientific presentations were delivered during the academic program, contributed by researchers from 27 different countries. This broad international scope ensured a versatile approach to the subject matter.

The two-day online event attracted exceptionally high interest. According to participation statistics, a total of 149 attendees followed the online presentations and discussions on Thursday (November 20th), while 64 individuals participated on Friday (November 21st).

The conference successfully served as a global platform where researchers, engineers, and managers could exchange experiences and forge new collaborations. Thanks to the efforts of the organizers, particularly Óbuda University, and the participants, the event made a significant contribution to advancing environmental sciences and sustainability efforts.
